WATCH: U.S. Military Releases Five Videos From Recent Airstrikes On Islamic State

Five new videos of airstrikes against ISIS/ISIL have been released by the U.S. military Thursday, and they’re hot off the press, having only been uploaded earlier Thursday and filmed the day before.

The U.S. Military Central Command YouTube page describes each of the previous day’s attacks, as being against a building, two bunkers, and two tunnels. Four targets were in Kirkuk, Iraq, and the fifth in Bayji. Both locations are not in Baghdad.

CENTCOM issued a statement, saying:

The strikes were conducted as part of Inherent Resolve, the operation to eliminate the terrorist group ISIL and the threat they pose to Iraq, the region and the wider international community. The destruction of ISIL targets in Syria and Iraq further limits the terrorist group’s ability to project power and conduct operations.

No mention is given to whether the U.S. or one of its partners was responsible for the airstrikes.
