Cops Brutalize 17-Year-Old Then Try To Delete Incriminating Footage – And Fail (VIDEO)

This is some shocking video. The footage comes from cell phone footage shot during a traffic stop. Young mother Courtney Griffith, a person who knows her rights, began filming the stop when officers started making claims about the car “smelling like marijuana.” Young Courtney repeatedly insists she “does not allow that in my car.” The officers ignore her and her requests for any further explanation of why she is being detained in her own driveway.

Courtney is also heard telling someone that these are the same officers that harassed her previously and she wants their supervisor to be present.

Meanwhile, in the back seat, Brandon, a 17-year-old minor is being pummeled with pepper spray, multiple tasings and other brutality while he simply tries to figure out what’s going on. Often the cops don’t even give Brandon any chance to respond when he tries to comply. You can see that most clearly right before the 2nd taser is fired at Brandon.

Brandon is now imprisoned until July on resisting arrest and assault on a police officer charges. From the footage I saw, it doesn’t look like Brandon is doing any of the assaulting. There are no marijuana charges against Brandon at this time. And resisting arrest is one of those usually trumped charges when the police have nothing else.

At the end of the video, officers can be heard looking and eventually finding the camera where it goes black. Officers reportedly tried to delete the footage but failed. It turns out they sent the file to a “recently deleted” file that was easily recovered by Courtney. But according to Courtney, officers had thought they had “gotten away with it.”

“They arrested me, never Mirandized me or Brandon, and they sent me off with a summons. When I went back to my car, my phone had been brought off the dashboard and was on the drivers seat. I asked the cops who deleted the video, after looking for it in my folder, and they all started laughing. It was sickening. I later found it in my recently deleted folder,” Griffith told The Free Thought Project
