Recently, Larry Pratt- leader of Gun Owners of America (GOA) and Ted Cruz supporter proved ammosexuals should put down the guns and pick up a history book!
Earlier this year, Presidential candidate Ben Carson blamed the Holocaust on gun control by saying:
I think the likelihood of Hitler being able to accomplish his goals would have been greatly diminished if the people had been armed.

This is quite a hot topic, so it’s no wonder Pratt was asked for his take on Carson’s claim in a recent interview with Foxnews.com. Pratt’s reply will make your blood boil:
Had the Jews had really good amounts of armament, they could have given the Nazis a real headache for a prolonged period of time, and in fact, had they had that determination to fight long before the [Warsaw] Ghetto, it might have been an entirely different story.

In 1943, Jews from ghettos all over Europe did in fact form resistance groups.
Between 1941 and 1943, underground resistance movements formed in about 100 Jewish groups. The movement was known as the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The uprising lasted for about a month but ended because the Germans had the group out-gunned. These people didn’t stand a chance against Hitler’s army in the long run and thousands of them died in the fight.
The Anti-Defamation league stated:
The small number of personal firearms available to Germany’s Jews in 1938 could in no way have stopped the totalitarian power of the Nazi German state.
Pratt’s unconscionable claim that Jews may have been able to prevent the Holocaust had they not lacked determination to fight is not only asinine, but completely unfounded. Maybe if he removed his head from his a$$ long enough to brush up on some history, he might realize just how determined the Jews really were. Ultimately, though, it didn’t matter how many weapons they had, they were no match for their enemy.
