President Obama had a brilliant one-liner at last year’s SOTU address, but he appeared to have an even greater one this year. Maybe it’s because it was his last year and he probably wanted to really get his point in, but he most certainly lambasted his opposition on climate change.
Like he was berating a sad and pathetic guy who refuses to give up his bad comb-over, President Barack Obama wasted no time ripping into the “lonely” conservatives who continue to deny the scientific consensus on climate change.
‘If anybody still wants to dispute the science around climate change, have at it’, Obama said. ‘You will be pretty lonely, because you will be debating our military, most of America’s leaders, the majority of the entire scientific community and 200 nations around the world who agree it is a problem and intend to solve it.’
