Trump Adviser Clarifies Clinton Comments: I Want Her ‘Executed’ Not ‘Assassinated’

Baldasaro is the co-chair of Trump’s veteran coalition, New Hampshire state representative and a violent moron. You see, about three weeks ago he began to spread a particularly violent idea: Hillary Clinton should be put in front of a firing squad and shot for treason. Now, however, Baldasaro wants everyone to know that, yes, he wants Hillary Clinton dead, but the mean Liberal Media™ twisted his words. He wants her “shot for treason,” not “assassinated.” Oh and also….his comments were perfectly okay, according to him.

When asked if he was worried that his rhetoric could cause someone to commit violence, Baldasaro said “no, Americans are better than that.”

What you in the liberal media consider rhetoric, I consider freedom of speech.

Taking a page from the Trump manual, apparently, Baldasaro is highly offended that it was reported that he wants Clinton shot. Apparently, if a vet says a presidential candidate should be put to death for treason (despite not having committed it) then in Baldasaro’s mind it isn’t dangerous rhetoric and a call for the ending of that person’s life. It’s different, it’s free speech (something Trump doesn’t want the media to have.)

Tuesday Baldasaro told

The liberal media took what I said and went against the law and the Constitution and ran with it, and they said that I wanted her assassinated, which I never did. I said I spoke as a veteran, and she should be shot in a firing squad for treason.

Now he is just whining, blaming the Liberal Media™ and crying out that his rhetoric is “free speech.” Free speech that sounds an awful lot like his nominee’s disgusting “Second Amendment people” suggestion for handling a Hillary Clinton win. It seems that saying horrendous things, then blaming people for reporting on your horrible abusive mouth, is part and parcel of the Trump camp.

According to TPM

When asked if Trump had spoken directly with him about the comment. Baldasaro said Trump had, but that “he might not agree on the way I said it, but I said it as a veteran.

There has been no shortage of smoke and mirror investigations, accusations, and conspiracy theories involving Hillary Clinton, driven by the GOP. No investigation has turned up anything chargeable, she has NOT COMMITTED TREASON.

But Baldasaro doesn’t like her, so “as a veteran,” he has no problem sentencing her to death based on his feelings, assumptions, and imagination.
