Stephen Colbert’s Late Show sketch, The Hungry For Power Games, has become a serial with the newest installment, The Hungry For Power Games: Caligula’s Fallen.
Hilarity ensues as Colbert unmercifully lampoons Carly Fiorina, Chris Christie, Rick Santorum, and some other guy named Jim Gilmore who got 12 whole votes in Iowa. We can only hope that the rest of the Republicans, including their eventual nominee, get the same intensely satirical mocking on their walk of shame out of the race.
It’s becoming increasingly obvious to me that our politics is a contact sport. It’s mano a mano between people who would deport you if you understand the phrase ‘mano a mano.’
Enough of the intro: what we all want to see is Colbert’s hilarious Hunger Games parody, with his blue-haired wig and new buddy, Caligula. Caligula isn’t very talkative, in fact, he kind of comes off a little wooden:
Caligula, here, he is like many Presidential candidates, when he first appears on the scene he appears fierce, but soon you realize, ‘dead on arrival!’
