Republican Attorney General Gets His Racism On At White Supremacist’s Workshop (IMAGE)

When talking about the worst of the worst elected officials in the State of Kansas, everyone agrees that Republican Governor Sam Brownback takes the proverbial cake. However, coming in a close second is his partner-in-douchebaggery, Attorney General Kris Kobach. Overachieving Koch-sucker that he is, Kobach’s latest escapade is sure to give Brownback a run for his money.

Kobach is best known for his unrelenting efforts to disrenfranchise Democratic and/or minority voters by ramming a proof-of-citizenship voter registration system down Kansans’ throats. You know, come to think of it, maybe deep-throating is something with which he’s comfortable. In his defense, Kobach argues that his actions are not attempts to suppress the vote, but rather an attempt to save ‘time and money.’

No, good ‘ol Kris doesn’t have anything against minorities … or does he?

It has been verified that on October 25, Kobach was a featured speaker at a “writers workshop” conducted by the white nationalist The Social Contract Press (TSCP). A photo of his participation appears below. Now speaking at such an event wouldn’t necessarily be a problem, UNLESS you are an elected official.

TSCP is a Michigan-based publishing house that routinely released race-baiting articles written by widely-known wide nationalists. It operates under U.S., Inc., a foundation created by John Tanton, the racist founder of the white nativist movement. Also of interest is the fact that TSCP’s editor, Wayne Lutton, is a longtime member of the white supremacist Council for Conservative Citizens. Sound familiar? That’s the same hate group who inspired Charleston mass shooter Dylann Roof.

Picture getting clearer now? Let’s add the fact that Kobach has worked for YEARS for the legal arm of the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR). The Southern Poverty Law Council has classed FAIR as a hate group since 2007. After all, FAIR was founded by … you guessed it … John Tanton.

Let’s add things up.

Kobach works as lawyer for a known hate group for years. Kobach operates outside his authority to suppress the vote. Kobach works to curtail immigration. Kobach speaks at a writers workshop conducted by a white nationalist group. And, to add the cherry to the sundae, let’s remember that Kobach contributed the ‘self deportation’ plank to the 2012 Republican Party Platform, stating,

If you really want to create a job tomorrow, you can remove an illegal alien today.

Kris Kobach is one vile human being.
