Recently resigning from his show on Fox “News” in order to hopelessly pursue a 2016 presidential bid and beat Rick Santorum to the role of stupefyingly oppressive moral scold, the fat Ned Flanders of the Republican party recently criticized women who cuss at the workplace. Of course it’s difficult to assess which is more shocking; that is, Mike Huckabee thinking women can’t curse in the workplace or believing that women are allowed to work.
Huckabee, who was discussing how a good god fearing and sanctimonious Christian like him was able to adapt to the evil sodomites in NYC for his Fox News show, told Des Moines-based “Mickelson in the Morning” show that he thinks woman cursing at work is “just trashy.”
“In Iowa, you would not have people who would just throw the f-bomb and use gratuitous profanity in a professional setting,” Huckabee said. “In New York, not only do the men do it, but the women do it!” “This would be considered totally inappropriate to say these things in front of a woman.” But “for a woman to say them in a professional setting,” Huckabee went on, “that’s just trashy!”(Think Progress)
When he’s not completing with Chris Christie for the coveted fat and angry white guy vote, Huckabee is finding new and inventive ways to alienate women voters. For example, Huckabee has previously said that giving women birth control is like telling them “they cannot control their libido.” One might say the birth control is offered to prevent Fox News Christians like Mike Huckabee from having to subsidize the costly life of a young and poor mom’s kid, but instead it’s because gals are nothing but shopping sluts. And apparently concerned about the greatest issue of our lifetime next to Obama wearing a tan suit, Huckabee also said that it was a huge mistake for Republicans to pull their support from then Rep. Todd Akin (R-IA) over his ‘legitimate rape’ comments.
