If you haven’t heard, Tea Party superstar Michele Bachmann hasn’t had enough public humiliation yet. The NY Daily News reports that the former congresswoman and failed presidential candidate is thinking about running for Al Franken’s Senate seat in Minnesota.
“I’ve had people contact me and urge me to run for that Senate seat,” Bachmann told right-wing televangelist Jim Bakker late last month. “The question is, should it be me? Should it be now?”
“It is really tough if you are going against the tide in D.C. — if you are trying to stand for biblical principles in D.C. and you stick your head up out of the hole, the blades come whirring and they come to chop you off,” Bachmann said.
Bachmann says she is praying on a potential run and that she “trusts in God” to tell her what to do.
Unfortunately for her, God isn’t on her side. In fact, he’s taking donations to give her an answer via billboard. So far, God has raised thousands of dollars toward this venture and is rapidly approaching His goal.
Note: I almost misspelled her stupid first name, but recognized and fixed the error right before sending the image to the printer.#Infallible

It’s going to be beautiful. The billboard will go up at 1579 University Ave West in in St. Paul, Minnesota:
Hopefully, Ms. Bachmann listens to her Lord and Savior. Or not. We could use some comic relief these days.
