Of all the things I would have expected at the end of the 2016 presidential cycle, this would not have been one of them. However, I guess stranger things have happened.
Mike Huckabee and Martin O’Malley may be teaming up to, of all things, start their own band. Can you believe it?
Both of them played in their own bands in the past, so they definitely have the experience. Martin played in O’Malley’s March and Huckabee played in Capitol Offensive.
You know, Huck may be a total idiot politically, but that is a pretty kick-ass band name.
ABC News interviewed the pair regarding some of their thoughts on the current state of the presidential race, but then asked them specifically about the band.
Martin said, “We were talking on the walk over here … about tunes we could probably do together — so we’re working on that.”
Mike then added in, “If Martin O’Malley and Mike Huckabee can get together on the same stage and come to harmony, that would be historic. It could be massive, we could sell tickets to that, and we’re both looking for something to do, right?”
I have to admit. I’d give them at least one show and see what it was all about. Who knows, they might even be good.
