Ok, we all get it. Donald Trump can be outlandish, outspoken, out-of-control and outrageous. Never one to shy away from speaking first and thinking second, Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign appearances have been filled with half-baked ideas and off-the-wall comments. However, his recent reaction to and comments about Republican presidential rival Carly Fiorina have sunk to a new low.
A recent Rolling Stone article reports that when Trump saw Fiorina on television being interviewed about Trump’s momentum in the polls. Trump, unable to contain his disgust, looked like he was smelling a particularly noxious fart and said:
Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?
Trump, not knowing when to quit when he is behind, ranted on,
I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?
Fiorina later addressed Trump’s comments about her appearance during an interview on Fox News, stating:
Well, I think those comments speak for themselves and all the many, many, many thousands of voters out there that are helping me climb in the polls out there. Yes, they’re very serious.
When asked by anchor Megyn Kelly what Fiorina thought Trump’s comments meant, Fiorina responded:
I have no idea. Honestly, Megyn, I’m not going to spend a single cycle wondering what Donald Trump means. But maybe, just maybe, I’m getting under his skin a little bit because I am climbing in the polls.
Donald Trump: gabillionaire, blowhard, orange-hued and coifically-challenged buffoon. Is there even one self-respecting woman out there who would vote for this misogynistic piece of dreck?
