The bigotry-ridden, and heavily persecuted Rowan County clerks office, whom a federal judge ordered to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, turned away a same-sex couple AGAIN.
Just yesterday, on August 12th, a federal court ordered Kim Davis, the Rowan County Clerk Head Bigot, to order marriage licenses to all couples including same-sex ones. Davis had recently denied a same-sex couple a marriage license based on her personal religious beliefs. The couple in question, David Moore and David Ermold, joined other gay couples who were also rejected by the Rowan County clerks office to get the licenses they are entitled to by law by challenging them with a lawsuit.
After the ruling by the federal court, Moore and Ermold reapplied for a marriage license and were denied a second time by a deputy in Davis’s office.
Kim Davis and her office are now “Lawless” just like Obama, yet strangely Republicans are silent on the issue.
Davis has tried to claim that the act of signing a legal document, such as a marriage license, is tantamount to physically burning in hell for eternity due to the fact the signature means she “approves” of the marriage.
The ruling by Judge David L. Bunning does not mesh with her opinion. When issued Wednesday the ruling stated:
Davis remains free to practice her Apostolic Christian beliefs. She may continue to attend church twice a week, participate in Bible Study and minister to female inmates at the Rowan County Jail. She is even free to believe that marriage is a union between one man and one woman, as many Americans do. However, her religious convictions cannot excuse her from performing the duties that she took an oath to perform as Rowan County Clerk.
It is not known currently if Kim Davis will be pursued in further litigation, however, she may be opening herself up to a “contempt of court” charge. Either way, she should be immediately fired by the county before her and other “fiscally conservative” Republicans cost the county millions in penalties and legal fees.
