Remember when President Obama gave Donald Trump’s new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucchi the thrashing of a lifetime? No, you probably don’t because outside of his attempts to violate U.S. sanctions on Russia in furtherance of his business interests, he has never exactly been important enough to warrant any attention previously.
But he did manage to get Barack Obama’s attention at a town hall in 2010 when he had the pleasure of asking the President a question — and accused him of beating Wall Street like a pinata, demanding to know what Obama intended to do to “heal” Wall Street just two years after the Great Recession Wall Street helped give us.
“I have been amused over the past couple of years, this sense somehow of me beating up Wall Street,” Obama shot back. “I think most folks on Main Street feel like they got beat up on.”
“And I’ll be honest with you, there’s a big chunk of the country that thinks I’ve been to soft on Wall Street,” he added. That’s probably the majority, not the minority.”
This may seem like a reasonable response to you, but days later tortured little snowflake Scaramucchi whined to the New York Times that he feels Obama “came at me with a baseball bat.”
Scaramucchi donated to Obama in 2008, but says he feels the President wasn’t kind enough to Wall Street and hopped over to Team Romney in 2012.
Now, he works for Trump.
