WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Gets Completely Destroyed On Live TV Trying To Defend Lie From Trump

Senior Trump Advisor Kellyanne Conway got into a pretty heated debate with CNN’s Chris Cuomo on a variety of issues, but one, in particular, stands out the most.

At issue was a leaked conversation President Trump had with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto where he told him that the border wall was just a political prop he was using to rally his base and that it ‘was the least important thing.’

Trump said, “You cannot say that to the press. The press is going to go with that and I cannot live with that. You cannot say that to the press because I cannot negotiate under those circumstances.”

He insisted further and hinted that his thoughts are politically motivated by saying “You cannot say anymore that the United States is going to pay for the wall. I am just going to say that we are working it out. Believe it or not, this is the least important thing that we are talking about, but politically this might be the most important talk about.”

Kellyanne tried to deflect, preferring to discuss the leak as the real issue, but Cuomo wasn’t having it.

“He was no defender of confidentiality then, but now he is because he’s been aggrieved by it. And, what is in that transcript is of concern is that the border wall is just a political device. That’s what is in this leaked transcript. He says….”

This is where Kellyanne interrupts him.

Cuomo: The leak is one issue. The substance of the leak is another. And you know this is troubling to those who voted for Trump on issues like the wall.

Conway: Oh, you’re going to discover who the Trump voters are now? Wow. Ummm….okay.

Cuomo: We know very well who those voters are and we know his support for him has waned in recent polls.

Conway: Undercover voter here. Undercover voter here missing. That’s not true.

Cuomo: What is that supposed to mean, Kellyanne?

Conway: You’re telling me that Trump voters are troubled by leaked transcripts.

Cuomo: No, I said that the wall was a signature promise that resonated with his base.

Conway: And, the president is very committed to it.

Cuomo: That’s not what he said to the Mexican president.

Conway: That’s not true.

Cuomo: You want me to read you the transcript?
