Donald Trump has made sure that no American will be able to enjoy their holiday weekend without being fully aware that their president is an absolute clown and isn’t getting anything done.
Trump’s behavior on Thanksgiving was absolutely disgraceful, but what he’s doing today is also extremely disappointing. Instead of getting back to work after the holiday, the President of the United States is playing golf. Again.
The strange thing about this is that the White House usually goes to great lengths to hide the fact that Trump isn’t working. But this time, the president admitted it himself. Marking to almost 80th day in his 308-day presidency that he has spent at one of his golf courses, Trump himself admitted that he would be delaying work once again to play a game of golf with Tiger Woods.
In a statement that is going to make his administration freak out and go into damage control instantly, Trump confessed that he was running off to his golf course right after speaking with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Then, Trump said he would work from his Mar-a-Lago golf club AFTER his game of golf because you know, priorities. Trump tweeted:
“Will be speaking to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey this morning about bringing peace to the mess that I inherited in the Middle East. I will get it all done, but what a mistake, in lives and dollars (6 trillion), to be there in the first place!
After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson. Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!”
While Trump claims he’s going to work after playing golf, we all know that’s not likley. Trump will likely spend the rest of the day tweeting and watching news coverage of himself. Trump’s presidency is truly a joke. Not even he takes it seriously – and he just proved it.
