Donald Trump has just gotten a rude awakening at one of his golf courses for Easter, perhaps in the form of an April Fool’s Day joke as well.
Late Saturday night the entrance to the president’s Trump International Golf Club, one of Trump’s golf courses near his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, was vandalized. ABC News reports that whoever was responsible for the destruction of property threw red paint all over the entrance and left the can behind.
This vandalism was meant to send a clear message to Trump — this golf course is regularly visited by Trump whenever he makes his weekly visits to his Mar-a-Lago resort, as there is only a 15-minute drive between the two locations. As Trump is currently staying at the Florida resort during Easter weekend, it’s highly probable that Trump has already been alerted and has seen the damage — and he’s probably having a raging meltdown over it.
Trump was just at the vandalized golf club yesterday, as well as Friday (no surprise). It is not yet known if Trump and his family were at the Trump International Golf Club when this incident occurred.
Here are some of the images, via a report by ABC News:
While vandalism is nothing to laugh it, this certainly shows how disgruntled the nation is due to having a president who spends more time golfing than he does working to improve the country. ABC News reported that Trump has spent 109 days at his properties during his first year as president — and that’s just according to public records. Trump’s White House is so secretive and dishonest, we would not be surprised if the real number was much higher.
Trump will likely have a public meltdown about this at some point today — keep an eye out for it on his Twitter feed.
