Trump Demands ‘More Loyalty’ From Kids At Boy Scout Jamboree (VIDEO)

Donald Trump’s speech at the Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia was…just a teensy bit unhinged. Not only did he curse in front of children, threaten to fire his HHS secretary, and whine that the “FAKE NEWS” won’t show the crowd size, and brag to a bunch of kids about the redness of the electoral map — but he also demanded that the children assembled show him “more loyalty.”

“Boy Scout values are American values and great Boy Scouts become great, great Americans,” Trump told the assembled crowd of 40,000 kids. “As the scout law says (he pronounced it ‘say’ with an ‘s’ at the end) a Scout is trustworthy, loyal…”

“We could use some more loyalty, I will tell you that,” Trump said, apparently demanding a loyalty pledge from children.

This was met with “boos” before they were drowned out by a group chant of “A Scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent.”

It was a really creepy moment.

There was another world leader who demanded loyalty of children, and Americans on Twitter were quick to make the connection:

This is frightening, if it wasn’t already.

During his campaign, Donald Trump said, “you either have a country or you don’t.” It’s time for Republicans to get on board with impeachment so we still have a country when this is all through.
