Trump Commits New Impeachable Offense In Front Of Millions, His Time Is Finally Up (TWEETS)

As Donald Trump’s scandals and investigations pile up, it seems like America has more than enough reasons to kick him out of office — and he’s just added another to the list.

Trump has recently committed yet another impeachable offense, and he’s been doing it in front of everyone. Trump has launched a vicious attack on Amazon, specifically targeting the company because the tech giant’s popularity has caused Trump’s rich real estate friends to be screwed out of their shopping malls and brick-and-mortar retail stores.

Trump has been doing this by going after the Washington Post, which is owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. Clearly, Trump is still bitter about all the times The Post has exposed him — especially when The Post‘s reporting won a Pulitzer Prize for exposing Trump’s lies about donating to charities. Trump has been attacking Amazon since last year, as his Twitter feed shows:

However, he has recently ramped up his attacks. After Axios reported that Trump was going after Amazon yesterday, the tech giant’s shares dropped and lost over $30 billion in market value. Today, Trump was at it again on Twitter. He tweeted:

I have stated my concerns with Amazon long before the Election. Unlike others, they pay little or no taxes to state & local governments, use our Postal System as their Delivery Boy (causing tremendous loss to the U.S.), and are putting many thousands of retailers out of business!”

What Trump doesn’t seem to realize is that as President of the United States, you can’t get away with saying whatever you want. Trump is still behaving as though he is a private citizen and doesn’t seem to be willing to accept that what he’s doing is an abuse of power. Reuters’ Lisa Lambert explained:

Trump’s claims about Amazon’s state and local tax payments have been met with skepticism. While the company was once criticized for attempting to skirt state sales taxes, it currently has a reputation as a leader in collecting the levies, which can vary from state to state.

Legally pursuing Amazon could affect more than its share price, which was largely steady after Trump’s tweet. Amazon is currently in the process of establishing a $5 billion second headquarters which could bring 50,000 new jobs to the location it selects. In January, it winnowed the list of possible locations down to 20 metropolitan areas.”

Trump has clearly marked Amazon and The Post as an adversary and is abusing his power to target the company and the free press.
