If there’s one thing Donald Trump is very good at, it’s refusing to place blame on Russia for interfering in the 2016 election or speak ill of Russian President Vladimir Putin. It’s bizarre to put it simply, really concerning if we’re going to be blunt.
While in Poland, Trump was asked, once again, if he believes Russia interfered in the 2016 election. However, instead of answering the question, he rambled on not only blaming former President Obama for seemingly allowing Putin to help him win (which makes no sense), but then insults our national intelligence community on top of it.
Trump seems to think the problem isn’t that Russia hacked our elections, and why would he, he won the Electoral College, but rather that our intellegence community and Obama weren’t harsh enough in their consequences.
Meanwhile, Trump has done nothing to combat the threat from Russia, nor condemned Putin. In fact, he hasn’t been able to muster up the ability to speak ill of them at all. Which is beyond odd. Trump is *president now. The question that he needs to answer at this very moment is, “what am I going to do about the threat from Russia?”
