Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti is pretty good at reading people and he’s good at his profession, too, unlike Donald Trump’s longtime personal attorney Michael Cohen. Avenatti predicted Monday night that Cohen will flip on Trump as he potentially faces “decades” of prison time.
Avenatti represents Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and he made his prediction just hours after a federal judge indicated that she would not allow Donald Trump’s legal team to go through the documents and files that were seized by the FBI in a raid of Cohen’s office, home, and hotel room.
Avenatti further predicted on MSNBC that Cohen will be indicted.
“I think Michael Cohen is going to be indicted in the next 90 days,” Avenatti said. “There’s little to no question in my mind that’s going to happen.”
“I think those charges are going to be serious,” Avenatti continued. “They’re going to potentially carry decades in a federal penitentiary. I also predict within six months thereafter, maybe sooner, he’s going to flip on the president.”
Daniels received a $130,000 payment from Cohen to stay quiet about her alleged sexual affair with Trump. She is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against Trump and Cohen to get out of the nondisclosure agreement. Avenatti and Daniels attended the hearing on Monday and we’re sure that added extra pressure on Trump’s loyal attorney, who may forego his loyalty soon in an attempt to save himself from any potential indictments.
Earlier this month, Avenatti predicted that Cohen would turn on Trump.
“I think when push comes to shove he’s going to fold like a cheap deck of cards, I really do,” Avenatti said. “I think this is the first significant domino to fall.”
On Twitter, Avenatti appeared to compare Trump to a mob boss.

Cohen knows where the bodies are buried and is known for tape recording conversations with his clients. He only has three clients, by the way: Donald J. Trump, Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy. Cohen gave $1.6 million to a Playboy playmate after she and Broidy had an illicit affair that left her pregnant. Fox News host Sean Hannity is Cohen’s third client.
