Republicans Take Turns BLASTING Trump’s Stupid Idea To Create Joint Cyber Security Unit With Russia

Donald Trump practically invited Vladimir Putin and Russia to launch devastating cyber attacks against our nation, and that was a step too far for Republicans.

Despite 17 intelligence agencies agreeing that Russia attacked our election process by hacking our democratic institutions and the recent Russian cyber attacks on our nuclear power plants, Trump was actually stupid enough to believe Putin’s denial that Russia hacked us.

He even took to Twitter to side with Russia over our own intelligence community.

And Trump followed those tweets up by announcing that he has invited Russia to help guard America’s cyber infrastructure. In other words, he wants to give Russia free reign to cyber attack us at will.

In fact, Trump apparently trusts Russia to handle America’s cyber security more than he does our own law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

Just imagine the Roman emperor opening the gates and inviting the barbarians in to rape, pillage, and burn Rome to the ground. That’s what Trump just did here.

And even Republicans were quick to condemn him for it.

“When it comes to Russia I am dumbfounded, I am disappointed, and at the end of the day he’s hurting his presidency by not embracing the fact that Putin is a bad guy,” Senator Lindsey Graham said on Meet The Press. “He is literally the only person I know of who doesn’t believe Russia attacked our election in 2016.” Graham went on to declare Trump’s cyber security plan one of the “dumbest ideas” he has ever heard.

Marco Rubia also mocked Trump’s proposal.

More Republicans will likely slam Trump’s proposal before the end of the day.

Trump’s proposal is a threat to national security at a time when Russia has stepped up cyber attacks against our country. In order for Trump to let Russia “help” us, he would have to give them access, which opens the door wide open for Russian hackers to do damage on a much wider scale.

This is a prime example of Trump being the puppet Putin has always wanted in the White House.
