On Friday, it was revealed that Fox News host and flaming Donald Trump supporter Eric Bolling sent unsolicited images of his genitalia to at least three female colleagues.

Bolling has been quiet since the story broke, but Fox News made a statement by suspending him after announcing that a full investigation would be conducted.

“Eric Bolling has been suspended pending the results of an investigation, which is currently underway,” the conservative media network told Mediaite.

Bolling is a strong supporter of Donald Trump and has repeatedly defended him and excused his behavior.

The news of Bolling’s scandal follows a long long line of sexual harassment scandals from within Fox News.

Just last year, Fox News forced Roger Ailes to resign following a lawsuit in which Gretchen Carlson accused him of constant sexual harassment, which included trying to get her to have sex with him in exchange for a promotion.

Bill O’Reilly was canned earlier this year after a bombshell report by the New York Times revealed that Fox News had settled at least five sexual harassment lawsuits slapped against their top television personality.

It’s been an incredibly tumultuous time for Fox News as of late. And that may be why the network moved so quickly to suspend Bolling and begin an investigation. Not doing so would have made things worse at a time when the network is struggling to move on from sexual harassment headlines in the past and dealing with a lawsuit alleging that Trump himself approved of the false Seth Rich conspiracy story that aired earlier this year only to be retracted once it fell apart.

The last thing Fox News needs is to be hammered for not moving fast enough on reports of sexual harassment.

Fox News did the right thing here. Sending unsolicited d*ck pics to female colleagues is never acceptable. Bolling should be fired if the investigation concludes that he did send them. This is the definition of sexual harassment in the workplace and it shouldn’t be tolerated, no matter where it took place or who committed it.
