She was talking about Donald Trump all along. She just didn’t know it.
When Fox News host Jeanine Pirro kicked off one of her shows a few days prior to Election Day in 2016, she attempted to make the case for electing Trump over Hillary Clinton.
Her argument should now be enshrined as the perfect reason why Trump and his entire administration should be impeached.
“This is the most important election of your lifetime,” Pirro began.
Whether or not you like Hillary Rodham Clinton, or Donald J. Trump, doesn’t matter. There is only one person you can vote for. We cannot have a country led by a president subject to ongoing criminal investigations, potential indictment, and never ending hearings. We cannot have a president under that level of scrutiny that inevitably leads to even more questions and more investigations. And irrespective of what happens to her, whether she’s indicted or even guilty, it doesn’t matter. Her guilt is a moot point. She cannot take the Oval Office.”
Pirro probably wishes this opening monologue no longer existed on tape. But it does. And it applies perfectly to Donald Trump only six months into his presidency.
Trump is the subject of ongoing investigations. Not only by the House and Senate, but by a special prosecutor as well. If Clinton were in the White House right now under these circumstances, conservatives would be using Pirro’s words to scream for her impeachment and indictment.
But Clinton is not president. Donald Trump is. And that means conservatives like Pirro will totally disregard what she said and will support Trump no matter what. Because in the end, all they really care about is power and pushing their toxic agenda.
Elsewhere in Pirro’s rant, she said that “in any other business, when the head of a corporation is plagued by scandal, that person steps down, and is replaced,” and warned that America will be a laughingstock around the globe if America elects a president who will be under investigation.
Well, Trump is under investigation as his Russia scandal continues to grow and America is now an international joke as our allies lose confidence in our ability to lead.
Pirro even claimed that Clinton would be obsessed with the investigation against her and that she would try to kill it by getting leverage.
We need a commander and chief focused on daily briefings. Not one, who along with her staff, is worried about her and her spouses investigation, and what leverage can be used to shut that investigation down.”
Donald Trump often ignores daily briefings and is absolutely obsessed with the investigation against him and his family. And he is desperately trying to derail it in any way he can, including trying to get leverage to use against investigators.

Clearly, Pirro is singing a different tune right now as she continues to defend and support Trump despite accidentally making the case against him.
If Pirro actually meant the words she said, she would be calling for Trump to resign right now. But she’s a hypocrite just like so many other conservatives have demonstrated in the last two years since Trump declared his candidacy.
