Something seriously went wrong with Newt Gingrich’s brain this Chistmas. And for any psychologists reading right now, we think we can pinpoint the exact moment he had a psychotic break with reality. Naturally, it was on Fox News.
Gingrich decided to use the example of a blow-up sex doll to describe President Obama and his legacy. The metaphor, offensive on its face, also made zero sense.
“I think President Obama is beginning to figure out that his legacy is like one of those dolls that as the air comes out of it, it shrinks and shrinks and shrinks. In six years, 70 percent of his legacy is executive orders, almost all of which will be repudiated by Trump.”
The metaphor had even seasoned journalists baffled.

But the answer is that most people just didn’t think to assume Gingrich was being a pervert on Christmas. A big mistake!
If you’re wondering if there are some cool new non-sex related blow up dolls out on the market now which Gingrich was referring to, the answer appears to be “no.” If you run a Google search for “blow up doll,” you get a long list of results – but most are advertising things like “3 holes” or “lifelike.” Navigating to Wikipedia from “blow up doll” automatically redirects you to “sex doll.” Gingrich is a filthy, filthy man.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party continues to pretend Trump and his cronies are the party of “family values.” Go figure.
