The Islamic State, also known as (ISIS) released a new propaganda video in which they criticized Donald Trump‘s “war against Islam” and encouraged their followers living in America to take full advantage of lax U.S. gun laws so they can execute mass shootings.
On Wednesday, a four-minute video was released featuring a one-legged ISIS terrorist, identified as “Abu Salih al-Amriki” or Abu Salih the American. The video was in English and took direct aim at Trump’s Islamophobia.
“You entered into the White House on the back of your crusader rhetoric, and which the fake media has pressured you to tone down,” he said. “Your fangs and hatred towards Islam has already been revealed, oh dog of Rome.”
“Your war against Islam has only made your homeland more vulnerable and your society cracking into chaos,” he added.
al-Amriki also gave supporters in America advice concerning the best way to spill blood on American soil.
“Take advantage of the fact that you can easily obtain a rifle or a pistol in America,” the fighter says to the militant group’s presumed supporters. “Spray the kuffar [infidels] with bullets so that their fear of the Muslims rises and they continue to reveal their hatred towards Islam.”
According to the Washington Post, the video is just one of a series of videos ISIS calls “Inside the Caliphate.” The series features various terrorists encouraging others to carry out attacks against civilians. A copy of this most recent video was published by the SITE Intelligence Group.
In 2017, The Gun Violence Archive has tracked at least 341 U.S. mass shootings that involving four or more people injured or killed. Overall, there’s been more than 60,000 gun violence incidents this year costing over 15,000 people their lives.
After the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history left 59 people dead at a concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, there seemed to be a strong push for some sort of gun reform in Washington. Republicans were floating the idea of placing a ban on so-called “bump stocks,” the ones used by the Vegas shooter which allowed him to simulate the output of a fully automatic rifle effectively. However, as usual, lawmakers ultimately failed to act on enacting meaningful reform.
Before the Vegas shooting, the 2016 mass shooting at the LGBTQ Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida held the morbid record as being the deadliest U.S. shooting, claiming the lives of 49 innocent people. And while reliable connections between the nightclub shooter and ISIS were tenuous, there was substantial evidence to suggest that the terrorist organization inspired the gunman to carry out his attack.
It should also be noted that the nightclub shooter bought his guns and ammo legally.
Meanwhile, thanks to Trump and the Republicans, their puppet masters at the National Rifle Association (NRA) continue to successfully motivate the government to place the profits of gun industry over the lives of the citizens they are sworn to protect.
