White House adviser Kellyanne Conway has been pretty much banished from most mainstream news networks, but highly inaccurate Fox News is still willing to put up with her lies because the conservative Trump-loving network also sees nothing wrong with spreading alternative facts and biased misinformation.
Throughout Trump’s failing presidency, Fox News has been pretty much the only network to continue defending the undeserving POTUS and keep featuring the corrupt members of his administration. Earlier today, Fox & Friends had Conway on the show, and it turned out to be a move the network would soon regret, as Conway pretty much ruined the segment as soon as it started.
When the show came back from a commercial break, the camera panned to the entire Fox News set and showed that Conway was still on her phone! Everyone panicked, but she continued to talk through the Fox hosts’ introductions as they desperately tried to get Conway off the phone and pretend that everything was fine.
It was obvious that the Fox co-hosts were getting anxious, and Ainsley Earhardt tried to brush the disrespectful, bizarre event off as Conway taking a “very important phone call.” Conway continued to ignore the co-hosts’ attempts to get her attention and kept talking through the live interview.
No one knew what the hell was going on, and co-host Steve Doocy eventually asked Conway, “Is that the president?!” Conway said, “I’ll never tell.”
You can watch this interview go way off the rails below:
No one knows just who Conway was on the phone with during this interview, but it’s not too much of a stretch to suggest it might have been Trump after all. Trump is pretty much glued to Fox News every day, so it’s possible he was watching the show and made a phone call to Conway. Either way, this weird interview will go down in the books as yet another fail for Trump’s administration.
