It was just last year that a New Hampshire state representative who advised Donald Trump on veterans’ issues called for Hillary Clinton to be “put in the firing line and shot for treason” over the Benghazi terror attacks. Al Baldasaro visited the White House for a bill signing on Friday. It is reminiscent of alleged president Donald Trump inviting Ted Nugent to the Oval Office, even after the washed up old rocker made threats to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
The Hill reports:
Trump signed the Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act on Friday, making it easier for the scandal-plagued Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to fire bad employees. During the 2016 campaign, Baldasaro advised Trump on veterans’ issues.
Baldasaro, who was also a Trump delegate and had previously appeared with Trump at campaign events, called the former Secretary of State “a piece of garbage” at the time. Trump distanced himself from his adviser and spokeswoman Hope Hicks said that “Mr. Trump and the campaign do not agree,” with Baldasaro.
Baldasaro called it “fake news” even though his words were well documented on a radio show. According to his reasoning, we can call for Trump to be shot for treason:

When a reporter asked White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer about Nugent being invited to the White House after his threats to Obama and Clinton, he said, “I’d have to look back and see what those statements were and what the reaction was at the time,” as if he had never read the widely reported news before.
And now that a crazed gunman, a Bernie Sanders supporter, shot Steve Scalise, and others at a Congressional practice baseball game for charity, the right wing media has painted the left as the ones who provoke violence with rhetoric toward Donald Trump. In fact, that blame can be shared by both sides, especially conservatives who repeatedly claimed that “political correctness is destroying our country.” That sentiment belongs to Trump, too. And now that the election is over, conservatives are calling for civility while Trump invites Baldasaro to the White House.
Last August, Trump told a crowd of his supporters in North Carolina that maybe “Second Amendment people” could do something to his rival, Hillary Clinton. A lot of Trump supporters made threats toward Clinton during rallies. A Republican lawmaker also called for Clinton’s death last year.
A right-wing radio host threatened to “shoot Hillary Clinton in the vagina” but we’re the violent ones, right?
