BREAKING: SWAT Team Swarms Florida High School, On Lockdown After Mass Shooting; Up To 50 Injured

Police, Fire, EMS, and SWAT teams in Parkland, Florida have converged on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where an active shooter situation has the school on lockdown and an estimated 50 people are injured and in need of treatment by medics on the scene.

Students have barricaded themselves into their classrooms, according to WSVN-TV, and authorities are searching for a suspect in a burgundy shirt and black pants, who some fear may have mixed in with students fleeing the scene in order to escape. The school is, at this time, on lockdown. Police have urged residents of the nearby Coral Springs neighborhood to stay home, and stay away from the scene of the shooting.
