Right wing nutjob Michael Savage went on a rant about how soldiers with post-traumatic stress disorder are really just crybabies. It’s the same thing with people suffering from depression, and, well, mental illness in general. To him, people are complaining and whining about it, and oh! Guess what? In Savage’s warped mind, this is just another way to get on government assistance and avoid working!
“I am so sick and tired of everyone with their complaints about PTSD, depression. Everyone wants their hand held and a check, a government check. What, are you the only generation that had PTSD? The only generation that’s depressed? I’m sick of it! I can’t take the celebration of weakness and depression.[…]
Everyone has depression in their life! Everyone has sickness, and sadness, and disease, and loss of relatives, and loss of career. Everyone has depression in their life! If the whole nation is told, ‘boo-hoo-hoo, come and get a medication, come and get treatment, talk about mental illness,’ you know what you wind up with? You wind up with Obama in the White House and lawyers in every phase of the government, that’s what you wind up with! It’s a weak, sick nation! A weak, sick, broken nation!”
Boo-hoo-hoo, this jagoff is really whining that nobody will man up! If we all just “man up,” we’ll be so much better! We’ll stop electing people like Obama and elect people who want to screw over the mentally ill—and our troops—even worse! What could possibly be better?
So who can save us from these poor, sad, lazy people who clearly just want government checks? Why, moronic limpdicks like Michael Savage, of course! He went on to say:
“You need men like me to save the country. You need men to stand up and say, ‘stop crying like a baby over everything! Stand up already!’ Stop telling me how sick you are, how sad you are. Talk about the good things in your life! When have you last heard that?”
Like him? Wow, that’s narcissistic. He also went on about how men can’t raise children, and how the world is laughing at us because we’re so weak and whiny. Truthfully, there’s nothing whinier than people who act like jerks. Kind of like, oh, Michael Savage! Listen to his ridiculous rant here:
