Rank Sexism: Eric Trump Email Blast Uses Map Of Only Male Voters To Show His Dad Is ‘Really’ Winning

Last night, pollster Nate Silver used two infographics to show just how different the election would be if only one gender could vote. In the horrifying parallel universe in which woman’s suffrage never happened, America’s men are overwhelmingly be electing Donald Trump president.

The map was meant to shame America into recognizing just how important women are to keeping a sexist, racist narcissist out of the White House. Unfortunately, Trump’s family seemed to interpret it differently.

In an email blast sent to Trump’s supporters asking for money (hey, remember when Trump was promising a self-funded campaign?), son Eric included the “males only” map as an example of how well his father is doing.

While it’s certainly true that nobody has ever accused Eric Trump of being “the smart one,” it seems hard to imagine he seriously believed this was a map showing what his father’s poll numbers looked like. Nate Silver’s website, FiveThirtyEight, currently has Trump at an staggeringly low chance of being victorious in November. And it’s getting worse by the day.

It does reveal where Trump’s priorities lie. Having seemingly given up on even trying to get minorities, women or even independent voters to join him, Trump’s new strategy is doubledown on his base – a group that helped him win the primaries but is too small to ever put him over the edge in a general election.

How hard up is Trump’s family to find a poll that shows them winning? They’ve resorted to citing right-wing Drudge Report online polls and – now – male-only fantasy polls. The real ones have Trump getting creamed by historic margins. And when Trump loses, America will owe the country’s women a huge debt of gratitude from saving it from its men.
