A Federal Judge Just Delivered The Bundy Terrorist Ringleaders Some Very Bad News (DOCUMENTS, TWEETS)

Ammon Bundy, Ryan Bundy, Brian Cavalier and Ryan Payne, the leaders of the terrorist organization frivolously named the Citizens For Constitutional Freedom won’t be breathing anything but prison air anytime soon. Oregon Public Broadcasting reported that all four men have been deemed a flight risk and will spend their days behind bars awaiting trial.

Prosecutors successfully argued that the men lacked “significant ties to Oregon” regardless of their obvious visibility. They have also showed wanton disregard for the rule of law and have stated outwardly, many times on camera, that they do not recognize the authority of the federal government.

Dan Tilkin of KOIN tweeted these documents issued by the court:

The reasons for detaining these men, whose intentions were supposedly to fight to the death if the federal government interfered with their felonies, are obvious and indefensible.

The ringleaders’ role in the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge came to an abrupt and chilling end when they were stopped by a joint task force of the FBI and the Oregon State Police earlier this week. The men’s aspirations to go out in a blaze of glory with guns blazing also ended abruptly when their spokesman, “Tarp Man” LaVoy Finicum, attempted to flee, drew his weapon and was immediately gunned down by agents.

Ammon Bundy and the others in the vehicle were feet away and watched their “comrade in arms” lose his life in seconds to what amounts to little more than suicide by cop. All of their tough guy talk fell by the wayside and they were arrested without further incident.

The four ringleaders can now spend lots of time reading their distorted version of the Constitution while federal prosecutors figure out the charges and make sure they never see the outside of a supermax again.
